About The Chamber

The British-American Chamber of Commerce serving the Florida counties of Broward and South Palm Beach is the premier bi-national chamber of commerce in the South Florida area serving the social pleasures and business needs of British ex-patriots and professionals at-large, in the local area and across the pond.

From Fort Lauderdale to Boca Raton to Delray Beach, the British-American Chamber of Commerce is tapped into the local community through a wide range of businesses and industries, including: technology, marine, education, hospitality, entertainment, logistics, insurance, supply chain, real estate, legal, accounting, consumer goods, distribution, manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and so many more. 

The British-American Chamber of Commerce works to faciliate business within the local community among the chamber members, with associates of the chamber, between the local community and the United Kingdom, with the local UK Consul General's office, and internationally through our collaborative relationships with other bi-national chambers of commerce. 

Chamber Social & Business Events

Our annual calendar is packed full of social and business events.  Whether you are an ex-patriot missing home and looking to be around others from the UK, or you are or represent a British-owned business and are looking to gain leads and increase sales, our chamber provides you plenty of opportunities to do so.

We have social gatherings and business networkers on a monthly basis.  Our signature events are our annual croquet tournement and our annual Christmas dinner.  When possible, we have special occasion luncheons and tours aboard docked cruise ships.  Our company members host after-work gatherings to promote their businesses.  We enjoy exclusive movie screenings and live theater performances.   

Membership Criteria

Membership in the chamber is granted to those individuals who are: (a) British by nationality; (b) British by direct decent; (c) own or operate a British-based company in the United States; (d) represent a British-based or British-owned company in the United States.  The chamber's core directive is to maintain its British identity and connection.

  The chamber welcomes all others to connect who wish to enjoy and partake in all that is British as associates of the chamber.  While chamber members will receive priority for all events, chamber associates are welcome at most events and to mingle and conduct business with chamber members.
